My understanding for Multimedia

 

"Multimedia"



WHAT TRULY IS "MULTIMEDIA":

-A "Multimedia" is a kind of/or form of Communication where it uses a combination of content sharing forms like Text, video(mp4), audio(mp3), animations, images, and .etc. all combined into a single, simple and easy to use media presentation of all kinds.  


MY UNDERSTANDING FOR MULTIMEDIA:

-As far and further from my understanding about Multimedia. Multimedia is a mix and combination of all content sharing media that is easily accessible and use for the general public like for us, Students. as the name "Multimedia" suggest, it's a kind of platform where you can use any means of communication from audio, to video, and even animation for content sharing to others and possibly for the public use and entertainment. As time goes on, Technology also advances in every corners of human ability and needs, and that includes our ways and means for communication. by this, from writing hand written letters for our loved ones back then, we now use technology to communicate with not just our love ones, even to everyone else we know off.



I.) MULTIMEDIA USED BY ARTIST AS HOBBY:

-Multimedia can also be a place where ones can share their talent, interest, hobbies, and skills to others as a way of entertainment. like for example, "PIXIV" a media platform where every skilled or talented digital artist and animators share their art work to the public, from mind blowing and gorgeous landscapes, to interestingly beautiful anime-inspired artworks, anything one's imagination can think off.

II.) MULTIMEDIA USED FOR EDUCATION PURPOSES:

-Multimedia has a huge and significant field for students, teachers, and leaners to learn and work from, as most teachers and students use multimedia to aid help for their works and requirements. Multimedia is as important as having school materials for learning, as multimedia is used throughout every corners and sector in education.





III.) MULTIMEDIA USED IN GAMING AND LIVESTREAMING FOR ENTERTAINMENT:

-Games in general are very entertaining in almost every way, having a wide range of variety ranging from FPS (first person shooter) to horror games, as such, livestreaming one's gameplay can make experiencing things on a whole new level of entertainment as both the gamer and its viewers can then interact in chats, voice-chats/calls, and other means of communicating and livestreaming like "YOUTUBE" and "TWITCH"  , .etc.

IV.) MULTIMEDIA USED BY THE MEME INDUSTRY:


-Memes in the multimedia platform is a widespread entertainment todays generation, especially for those who were born from 2000's up till this year 2023 and so on. Memes, by definition is a sort of entertainment that ranges from stupidity to pure sarcasm by people, as memes differ from one another and the way how they were originally interpreted. either be offensive ones or neutral ones. there are a lot of multimedia platforms where you can see and share memes, from "YOUTUBE", "FACEBOOK", "REDDIT", "TWITTER". ETC.


-Memes in general are a great way to loose some stress off ether it be stupid memes or wholesome memes up till the sarcastic memes, Memes can also expand ones creativity.

THE SIGNIFICANCE AND IMPORTANCE OF MULTIMEDIA IN TODAYS GENERATION:

-from here on today even from earlier years, we've been using multimedia in almost everything that relates to communication, such as messenger for both its chat and video call/chat ability, Facebook for advertisements, story & content sharing, and much more from other media platforms. as the majority of us uses technology in every way, also for the fact that everyone has a gadget with them ranging from phones, to laptops.


-As multimedia expands, more and more variety comes in and is being used by the public for both entertainment, skill & talent sharing, content sharing, educational works, .etc.

- the same can also be said for technological advancements, and such. especially we're living in the 21st century where almost everything around us involves mechanisms from technology where we can't possibly comprehend how they work, thus making the significance of both the Multimedia and technology extremely significant in our daily lives.





"who knows... maybe we'll get to the point of multimedia where we can send someone a message in a telepathic way...hehe"
